HW: Final draft and final portfolio due at conference
In Class: Hand in your HW.
1. Writing Warm Up (20 min.) : One of the most common comments I find myself writing on student papers is: Go Further, Elaborate, Analyze More.
It seems that one of the most important ways in which you become better as a writer is learning to recognize these places in your writing, and learning to do the kind of thinking that is required to actually elaborate and provice more analysis.
Looking back at your writing, locate one or two places where either I asked you to go further (or something similar), or a place where you recognize now that you could have gone further. Explain the example, and explain what you would include now, if you had to write one more draft.
2. In class essay drafting.
3. Wrap-Up, questions, etc
