1. Review 2 due. Make sure to include specific SCENES. Make sure to follow the review structure. Question use of "you." Why not "I"? Remember, you're goal is to give the reader info. to make up her/his own mind, and ultimately to give the reader a new understanding or insight.
2. Read "Why I Blog" by Andrew Sullivan. (Follow Link). Write informal response using at least 3 direct quotations. Prompt: Compare and contrast the metaphors used by Sullivan and Carr. To Sullivan, the blog is like a buoy anchored to the ocean floor. In Carr's analysis, Google and other technologies have made us all jetskiers when we used to be scuba divers. What points of comparison and contrast can you find in these two metaphors? Do Sullivan's and Carr's viewpoints fit together, or are they opposed to each other?
